ANAK BUMI RETREAT

We had a retreat with Anak Bumi from the United States from August 14 to 18, which was a great success. Very nice people came from the United States and Costa Rica to immerse themselves in a dream of jungle, art, sensations, yoga and meditation. A beautiful experience with Cody and Amanda, who guided a group of 14 participants. Our friends from Kwa Cacao also came to do a cacao ceremony with a drum in our kankurua Kogui hut. A ceremony of feeling, dancing, giving thanks! It was all very beautiful!

“ORGASMO, SANAR EN PLACER” RETREAT

From 22 to 25 of November

Includes:

Sound healing,

Yoga and pleasure,

Cacao ceremony,

Very healthy and conscious eating.

A transformative experience!!

ON THE WAY TO BE AND DO MORE.

What makes us environmentally and socially conscious? Every day we work to be more than sustainable, to be regenerative. This is a path that requires more dedication than the path of sustainability. We are at a point in the world where being sustainable is not enough anymore.

On Saturday, August 24, we had our first meeting with the Cien Sierra collective, of which we are already a part. It is an environmental conservation and regenerative tourism collective that is growing in importance for the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia. We are a group of farms whose desire is to preserve the environment through education, wild life monitoring, land conservation, and mutual support. On September 14, we will have three workshops in Caoba to continue with our goal of protection. We will be reporting more about it.

It is something very exciting that fills our hearts.

This September we will also have the first workshop with the local school on the topic of deforestation and the importance of trees and the beings that live in the forest. It is the first of several workshops, which will culminate with a reforestation campaign on a farm in the area.

The school goes from 0 to 5th grade and has approximately 12 students and we are very happy to be able to create a change. We will be reporting more about this in October.

Speaking of reforestation, we are in the best time. September and October are the heaviest rains and it is the time when the trees need water to have momentum and grow. Our Abarco trees are beautiful! They are already growing well and we hope they can be planted in October. We give them another month.

If you are thinking of visiting us and you have empty milk bags at home, you can bring them. We use these bags for sowing seeds. They are very resistant and can be used several times. This way you help us not to buy so many bags for sowing and protect the environment!
